  • President, Wayne Koppel

    Wayne Koppel is the president of the Plantation Athletic League and its basketball commissioner over the past 15 years. In addition to those positions, he has also served on the recreational baseball boards and as a baseball league director.

    Wayne began volunteering with PAL in 1999 when his oldest son first started playing tee ball. Since that time he has coached all 3 of his children throughout their entire PAL careers in baseball, basketball, soccer and roller hockey.

    Mr. Koppel resides in Plantation with his wife, Leah, where he maintains his law office and works as a practicing attorney. His children, now adults, have also volunteered as coaches and his grand daughter will soon be playing PAL sports.

    Lee Levenberg is the Vice President and Treasurer of the Plantation Athletic League.  He previously served as Soccer Commissioner.  He began volunteering with PAL in 1988 as a rec soccer coach and has also coached baseball, flag football, and softball for his three children. 
     
    In addition he served on the boards of softball and flag football, and is currently on both the rec and travel soccer boards.  Lee is a certified USSF Soccer Referee, a certified USSF Soccer Assignor, a certified FHSAA high school referee, and holds the FYSA D coaching license.  He is a retired CFO, and has masters degrees from NYU and Nova Southeastern in Finance and Accounting. 
     

  • Travel Soccer Commissioner, Sadesh Ganesh

    Sadesh is responsible for the Travel Soccer Program. Plantation Eagles FC Customer Service Liaison. Sadesh has over 10 years experience volunteering for the Plantation FC Rush and he holds a US Soccer E Coaching License.

    Andie Chenet is the Commisioner for Recreational Soccer. Andie began volunteering/coaching with PAL in 2010 when her daughter first started playing soccer and softball. Andie has 27 years of coaching experience; 12 years of serving on the PAL Recreational Soccer Board, as both a League Director and Vice Commissioner; and 18 years of being a soccer player. Andie has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work.

  • Recreational Baseball Commissioner, Wayne Clark

    Wayne Clark is the local Little League President and PAL baseball commissioner.
     
    Wayne began volunteering with PAL in 2013 when his son started playing flag football and baseball.  Since that time he has coached baseball at the Little League and travel baseball level as well as coached flag football.
     
    Wayne resides in Plantation with his wife, Melissa and son. Wayne is a practicing attorney in Plantation.

  • Flag Football Commissioner, Daniel Gurtov

    Daniel Gurtov has been a Plantation resident since 1980. He grew up playing in PAL and was there when Central Park opened! His father was PAL Softball Commissioner and his sister was a nationally recognized softball and travel soccer player in the 90s, playing soccer at FSU.

    He has taught at Indian Ridge Middle for 22 years and has coached flag football and competitive girls travel soccer. All 3 of his children grew up in PAL.
